Is an image extender reliable enough for extending a low-resolution photo?
Treat each result as a draft to review. Photos with continuous backgrounds (sky, wall, open water, plain floor) give the model the easiest edges to continue; still compare the result with the source before publishing. For cluttered scenes with objects cut off at the edge, add the built-in direction to steer the model.
Does this replace a dedicated upscaler?
No. This tool extends the canvas to a target aspect ratio at a standard output resolution — it does not enlarge an already high-resolution photo. Will the subject itself change?
